One mile south of Betws-y-Coed, this is a traditional smallholding with 19th-century farmhouse and outbuildings. Not so long ago, most Welsh farms were like this, and the National Trust is preserving this farm to show the way of like of these small holders.

Outside there is a along the River Machno through fields of interest to both the naturalist and the conservationist
