Genealogy in Wales

Many visitors of Welsh descent come on holiday to Wales with the intention of tracing their family history.

This can be done by contacting

• the County Record Offices in Wales, a list of which is available from the Wales Tourist Board. or the Genuki site
• Manuscript Department of the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth can also offer help and advice.
